Apps in this family generally offer support inside the app, through a help or chat section, or through the contact details on the developer's own website. What to Do If You've Already Been Scammed
- Call your bank immediately using the number on your card or the bank's official app, and ask them to block the card, UPI or account involved. Speed matters: banks can sometimes stop money that hasn't left the system yet.
- Report it on the national cybercrime helpline, 1930, and file a complaint at cybercrime.gov.in with transaction IDs, screenshots and the scammer's number or UPI ID.
- Raise a dispute for the UPI transaction from the payment app you used, under its help or dispute section.
- Report the scam number on the government's Sanchar Saathi portal (the Chakshu facility) so it can be acted on.
- If you installed a remote-access app, uninstall it, change your banking and email passwords from a different device, and check for unknown linked devices.

- Start from the app you actually installed, not from a search engine. Open its Help or Support section and see what contact it shows.
- If the app lists a website or email, check that the domain exactly matches the developer's official site or store listing.
- Be suspicious of anything that only exists on social media, YouTube descriptions, Telegram or a "customer care" listing site.

What to Include When You Contact Real Support
A clear first message gets a faster answer. Send it through the in-app support section, and include:
- Your user ID or registered phone number (never an OTP or PIN).
- What went wrong, in one or two sentences.
- The date, time and amount of any transaction, with its transaction ID.
- Screenshots of the error, your wallet balance and your payment confirmation.
- What you'd like them to do, for example process a pending withdrawal.
Genuine Reasons Support Takes Time
Not every slow reply is a scam. Real support teams can take a few days when KYC documents need checking, when a bank or UPI transfer is still processing on the bank's side, or when a payment needs to be traced across systems. The difference is that genuine support explains the delay inside the app and never asks you to pay, share an OTP or install anything to speed it up.
