You can play 13-card Indian rummy free right here, in your browser, against a computer player. There's nothing to download, no account to create and no real money involved: chips are virtual and have no cash value. The table uses standard points-rummy rules (two decks, printed and wild jokers, a pure sequence required to declare) and groups your cards for you, so it works as a way to learn sequences, sets and scoring before playing anywhere else.
How This Rummy Table Works
- Tap Deal cards. You and the bot get 13 cards each, one card is cut to set the wild joker, and one card starts the open pile.
- On your turn, draw from the closed deck or take the top open card, so you hold 14.
- Tap a card to discard it. The table shows your cards already grouped into sequences, sets and unmatched cards, and tells you what your points would be after that discard.
- When a discard leaves every card in a valid group, Discard & declare wins the deal. The bot then pays its points in chips.
- If your opening hand is poor, Drop before your first draw for 20 points, or later for 40.
The bot plays a simple, honest game: it keeps the open card only when it clearly helps, always throws its least useful card, and declares as soon as its hand is valid. It never sees your cards.
Chips here are virtual and have no cash value. They can't be bought, sold, withdrawn or exchanged for anything. Your chip count is saved only in your own browser.
Rules Used at This Table
- Points rummy: two decks plus two printed jokers, 13 cards each.
- A valid declaration needs every card in a sequence or set, at least two sequences, and at least one pure sequence (no joker standing in).
- Wild joker: every card of the cut rank. If a printed joker is cut, Aces are wild.
- Aces count low (A-2-3) or high (Q-K-A), but a run can't wrap round (K-A-2 isn't valid).
- Scoring: A, K, Q and J are 10 points, number cards their face value, jokers 0. With a pure sequence, grouped cards don't count; without one, every card counts. A hand is capped at 80.
- Drops: 20 points before your first draw, 40 after. One chip per point.
