For adults (18+) only. Real-money online games are prohibited in India under the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, and real-money play carries financial risk and can be habit-forming. On apps like Yono Games, a withdrawal normally needs completed KYC and a bank account or UPI ID in your own name, and is requested from the app's wallet. But we couldn't verify Yono Games' publisher or its current withdrawal terms, and real-money online games are prohibited in India under the 2025 Online Gaming Act, so if a withdrawal stalls you have little outside help. Never pay a "tax", "GST" or "unlock fee" to release money: that's always a scam. If you're owed money, use only the in-app support with your transaction ID, keep records, and report fraud on 1930.
How a Yono Games Withdrawal Usually Works
- Complete identity verification (KYC) in the app, usually with a PAN card.
- Add a bank account or UPI ID in your own name; apps generally won't pay to someone else.
- Request a withdrawal from the wallet section, above the app's minimum amount.
- Wait for the processing time shown in the app.
This is the general pattern for apps in this category. We couldn't verify Yono Games' current minimums, fees or processing times, which can differ between builds and copies of the app.
Why Yono Games Withdrawals Get Stuck
| Cause | What to check |
|---|---|
| KYC incomplete or rejected | The KYC status in your profile; the name on PAN and bank must match |
| Bonus balance, not cash | Bonus money usually can't be withdrawn until conditions are met. See bonuses explained |
| Below the minimum | The minimum shown in the wallet |
| Payment routes cut off | Since the 2025 Act, payment providers must not process money-game payments |
| Unofficial or modified copy of the app | Where you installed it from. A cloned app may never pay out |
The "Pay a Fee to Withdraw" Scam
The most common trap: your balance shows a large amount, a withdrawal fails, and then a message, pop-up or "agent" says you must pay tax, GST or a processing fee first. Genuine apps deduct any charges from the payout itself. Paying to receive money is always a scam, and each payment is usually followed by a request for another.
What to Do If Your Withdrawal Is Held
- Use the support or help section inside the app, with your transaction ID and screenshots. Don't call numbers found online.
- Don't deposit more to "unlock" anything, and don't share OTPs, UPI PINs or screen access.
- Keep records: screenshots of your balance, transaction IDs and all messages.
- If money was taken by fraud, call your bank, report it on 1930 or at cybercrime.gov.in, and raise a dispute in your UPI app.
- Accept that you may not recover money from an unverified app operating outside the law, and stop depositing.
