We couldn't verify who publishes Yono Games or confirm a single official store listing for it, and it's a real-money-style multi-game app, a category India's 2025 Online Gaming Act prohibits for money. That doesn't prove any particular copy is a scam, but it means the usual protections of a known, accountable publisher are missing. Yono Games is also unrelated to YONO, the State Bank of India banking app, despite the name. If you install it anyway, use only an official source, refuse unusual permissions, never deposit to a personal UPI ID and never pay a fee to withdraw.

Yono Games Is Not SBI YONO
YONO is the State Bank of India's official banking app. Yono Games, Yono Rummy and Yono Teen Patti have no connection with SBI that we're aware of. The shared name causes real confusion, and scammers use it: messages about "YONO rewards", "YONO KYC update" or "YONO game cashback" can be phishing aimed at bank customers. Never enter your bank login, card details or OTP in a game app or a link from a message.
Scam Patterns Around Yono Apps
- Look-alike apps: names like "Yono 777" or "Yono Rummy Gold" that copy the branding and icon.
- Telegram and WhatsApp "agents" selling recharges or promising bonus codes, paid to a personal UPI ID.
- "Withdrawal fee" demands: winnings shown as blocked until you pay tax or a processing fee.
- APK files passed around in groups, with no store listing and no developer you can contact.

Permissions to Refuse
A card or casual game needs network access and perhaps notifications. Be very wary of any Yono build that asks for SMS access (which can read bank OTPs), accessibility services (which let an app read the screen and tap for you), "display over other apps" (used for fake login screens) or your contacts. If it insists, don't install it.
